L'Oréal Paris once again made a strong statement for the advancement of women in the film industry at the 78th Cannes International Film Festival in 2024. As the Official Makeup Partner for 27 years, the world's leading beauty brand not only presented the latest beauty innovations to the film industry's most important global gathering, but also actively drew attention to the existing gender inequality within the film industry during the fourth edition of the L'Oréal Paris Lights on Women's Worth Awards. With Elle Fanning as a juror, the award honored another promising female short film director.
L'Oréal Paris welcomed many iconic brand ambassadors such as Viola Davis, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Helen Mirren, Elle Fanning, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Bebe Vio, Soo Joo Park, Liya Kebede, Aja Naomi King, Gong Li, Jane Fonda and Cindy Brunda, who walked the red carpet on behalf of the brand and presented a diverse and confident version of beauty.
For the first time, the beauty brand also welcomed its new brand face, Heidi Klum, who, as a pioneer of openly celebrating self-love, sets a strong example of the strength and solidarity of women worldwide alongside the L'Oréal Paris family. Together with the national brand faces Rebecca Mir, Lena Gercke, Iris Berben, Caro Daur, Valentina Pahde, Millane Friesen, and Emilia Bartoeck, the feminine and feminist values of L'Oréal Paris were conveyed in an authentic and inspiring way.
