As part of its "StandUp – Against Harassment in Public" program, L'Oréal Paris is actively dedicated to raising social awareness and strengthening the courage to take decisive action in situations of sexual harassment. At this year's Women's Run in Berlin on May 14, the brand reaffirmed its fundamental commitment to a culture and community of respect, dignity, and self-confidence.
The world's leading beauty brand used the event to raise awareness of public harassment and offer a safe and effective solution through an open training session. Founded in 2020 in collaboration with RIGHT TO BE, the "StandUp - Against Public Harassment" initiative offers a free training program that uses the "5D Method" to empower participants to move freely in public without fear. The goal of the training is to provide comprehensive information about the five tools of action - Direct, Distract, Delegate, Document, and Delay - and to foster a global community characterized by respectful interaction among all members. The training can be completed from the perspective of both the victim and the witness.
