On the occasion of the launch of YSL Beauty's global program "Love Without Violence" in Germany, a digital press conference took place on Wednesday, April 21.
Women's independence and freedom are values that have always been firmly anchored in the DNA of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty. Therefore, YSL Beauty is committed to "Love Without Violence" to raise awareness of intimate partner violence and contribute to positive change. By 2030, YSL Beauty aims to educate two million people worldwide about this issue through its collaboration with local NGOs. Moderated by SICHERHEIM ambassador Frauke Ludowig, an insightful talk explored the controversial topic of intimate partner violence. In Germany, YSL Beauty entered into a partnership with the SICHERHEIM initiative and the German NGO bff eV (Federal Association of Women's Counseling Centers and Women's Emergency Hotlines - Women Against Violence) as part of the "Love Without Violence" initiative in April 2021 to work together to achieve positive, long-term change in the situation.
Nadine Klein, a supporter of "Love Without Violence" and exclusive guest at the digital press conference, shared her personal stance on this topic in a courageous interview with Frauke Ludowig. Katja Grieger, Managing Director of the NGO bff eV, provided interesting insights into the development of domestic violence during the pandemic and is pleased about the joint commitment. Actress Natalia Wörner and UFA producer Marc Lepetit, as well as Tom Daske from DIE BOTSCHAFT, initiated SICHERHEIM in 2020 and were also present at the digital press conference. The three initiators reviewed last year's SICHERHEIM initiative and offered an outlook on how SICHERHEIM will develop further together with YSL Beauty.
