Since November 2023, the well-known London fresh food and organic coffee chain PRET A MANGER has been steadily growing its presence in Berlin, away from the transport catering at the main train station, under the expertise of master franchisee PM Nord GmbH. PRET, as the brand is also known, now offers a range of delicious and freshly prepared hot meals, sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, salads, bowls, desserts, and pastries, as well as 100% organic coffee or tea, prepared on-site by trained baristas, in five branches at highly frequented locations in Berlin.
The British fresh food chain is now expanding its concept to the German market. Founded in London in 1984, the company's philosophy is to offer customers fresh products every day, all day long. These products are prepared quickly and easily in the kitchen on-site or near the store using high-quality, carefully sourced ingredients. The name "PRET A MANGER" comes from the French ("ready to eat") and thus emphasizes the ready-to-eat concept. Unsold food is donated to the food bank at the end of each day.
