With the LOVE WITHOUT VIOLENCE initiative, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty is taking a strong stand against intimate partner violence and is actively committed to education and prevention. On the occasion of the upcoming International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in November, an exclusive Lunch & Learn event took place in Hamburg on September 26, 2024, to further raise public awareness of this important issue. In the intimate setting of the event, press representatives were given the opportunity to delve into the topic from a multifaceted perspective and learn about the 9 warning signs of violence – a key foundation for recognizing violence early, offering support to those affected, and actively promoting prevention.
The event was supported by prominent figures: Entertainer, model and presenter Riccardo Simonetti, the new face of the initiative, led the event together with Katja Grieger, Managing Director of the bff – Federal Association of Women’s Counselling Centres and Women’s Emergency Hotlines Women Against Violence eV, a compelling dialogue about the diverse dimensions of intimate partner violence. The exchange addressed the urgent need to completely remove the taboo surrounding this topic in public discourse and the importance of providing concrete support for those affected.
